Highland animals

Meanwhile, here is the latest addition to my natural history work. I've been working on trying to portray a unique character for each animal, to make them more appealing to the younger age group at whom they are aimed. I want to keep the potential for a humourous scenario in this kind of work.

Tonal drawing - Bear in the woods

Another recent commission. The client thought my tonal linework suited the subject matter best.
Personally, I think pencil drawings are sometimes under-rated and I enjoy making them just as much as colour work.

Caricatures

This recent commission was a chance for me to play about with my cartooning skills.
It was an interesting depart from my recent natural history work - I love excercising my more humourous artistic side! I'm aiming to make this kind of work a permenant fixture in my portfolio, so stayed tuned to my website for updates in the coming months!

Seasonal decoration

To usher us into Autumn, here is this seasonal border which I created as part
of a recent commision for wedding invitations, with a harvest theme.
